Overview:
This intern position assists park staff in gathering data for Zion’s Visitor Use Management Plan. In addition, interns assist with park visitor transportation. Interns will provide some interpretation of the park’s resources and safety and regulatory information to visitors.
Responsibilities:

Assist with loading park shuttle buses and conducting tours.

Participate in gathering data for the park’s Visitor Use Management Plan.

Managing the data by creating spreadsheets, graphs, and creating messaging for visitors.

Greeting and orienting park visitors and providing some interpretive work regarding the park’s cultural and natural resources.

Other duties may include outdoor work requiring bending, lifting, and hiking, as there may be some ground and building maintenance, and developed recreation and trails projects.

The successful candidate must enjoy working with individuals and groups with diverse backgrounds.
